We met last year in a conference in Dipoli, Helsinki and I remember you were interested in etutoring. Our project is now coming to its end and at the moment we are working on the closing seminar in Finland. Please find attached the programme of the seminar and the registration form – I would be glad to see you in the seminar – and maybe you would like to forward the information to your networks in Estonia.

European eTutors in Vocational Education and Training (VET) 23 March 2007, Mikkeli, Finland The event provides an opportunity to exchange expertise and raise awareness of the impact of Leonardo da Vinci project results on the issue of eLearning and etutoring. The event is a closing seminar of a Leonardo pilot project Implementing Standards for European eTutor Training the aim of which was to define a European Core Curriculum for etutor training, i.e. the competencies of teacher and trainers moving from traditional classroom teaching to online teaching and tutoring.
The seminar highlights the results and findings both at the national and the European level. The curriculum was developed in cooperation of 6 countries: Austria, Germany, Greece, Finland, France and the UK.
Participants are offered possibilities to meet people with similar interests and to present examples of best practice. Volunteers are wanted to suggest a topic and moderate discussions of their topic in the cracker-barrel session.
